1 The types of personal data we collect and why we collect it
1.1 Contact forms
On this website, we use contact forms for general inquiries and to request an offer for activities. The forms are submitted via Piotnet Forms and only authorised staff members at Storsand Gård AS can access the information we receive (name, mobile number and email address).
1.2 Cookies
On this website, we log completely anonymous information on all visitors. To this end, we use cookies, primarily for traffic measurements and content optimisation. This information cannot be traced back to you as an individual. If you accept the use of cookies, you can continue to use the website and browse its pages.
We use the Google Analytics analysis tool to study traffic, usage patterns and trends on this website. The data we collect is used to optimise the user experience and adapt the content of the website. 1.4 Online reservations
We use several data processors in order to be able to deliver our services to you and these data processing agreements ensure that our suppliers process all personal data in compliance with this privacy policy.
On this website, we use VisBook’s services to enable online reservations. When you search for availability or click on the ‘Reservations’ button on the website, you are redirected from storsandcamping.no to VisBook’s online solution.
VisBook AS is the supplier and developer of our reservation system VisBook AS. VisBook AS’s privacy policy.
When you make a reservation online, we receive the information you submit to us (name, email address, phone number and country). Only authorised staff members of Storsand Campsite have access to this information. Phone numbers and email addresses are only used if we need to provide information that affects your stay and this information is stored safely in our reservation system.
1.5 Analysis
Information collected through cookies, as well as non-personal information that you provide to us when making a reservation online (country), is used for internal market analysis purposes within the company. Analysis programs do not have access to personal information, so the data cannot be traced back to you as an individual.
2. Who we share your information with
We may share your personal data with third parties for the following purposes (provided you have explicitly granted consent):
– To process your reservations and orders (reservation payment).
– To provide the services and activities ordered (such as to partners who sell additional services, including various activities).
– We use third parties to provide and operate our services, such as IT suppliers, marketing agencies, credit and debit card companies and suppliers of fraud monitoring services. These types of third parties must offer sufficient protection of your personal data and only process this information in accordance with our instructions and GDPR.
– If you have reserved any of the activities offered on our website, we will share your personal information with the company, our partner, that organises the activities. Information is used to confirm participation in these activities.
Non-personal information, such as nationality and the number of nights stayed, is shared with Statistics Norway.
3. How long we save your personal information
Personal data is stored in our systems, such as VisBook (reservation system), Office365 (email and file archiving) and other similar services.
Your personal information will be saved for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this privacy policy or for as long as necessary to comply with legal obligations and to resolve any disagreements.
4. Your rights with regard to information we collect about you
As an individual, you have a number of rights by virtue of privacy laws and regulations.
You have the right to demand access, correction or deletion of the personal data we collect on you. You also have the right to demand limited processing, the right to object to processing and the right to demand data portability.

If you participate in any competitions or other activities, we will process your personal data, such as your name and contact information, if necessary to register participants and/or determine one or more winners. If you contact us or submit an inquiry using our contact form or directly by email, we will process the personal information you provide if necessary to respond to and log your inquiry. This is due to legitimate interests or to fulfil an agreement with you or to respond to your inquiry.

Storsand Gård AS is also the data controller responsible for the marketing and sending of email to our customers and contacts, as well as for online marketing purposes.
